Great rally in support of Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul – Virtual Poland

During the rally there was also leader of the opposition Republican People’s Party Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. He said that the failed coup opened “a new door of compromise” in politics and added that politics must be kept away from the mosques or the courts. In the night from Saturday to Sunday on the doors of apartments are inserting leaflets with the slogan: “The triumph belongs to democracy, the place belongs to the people” and advertise free transportation – bus and metro – on the Sunday rally. The agency predicts also that the show of solidarity with Erdogan will not last long, because the government is criticized not only abroad but also in the country, too far-reaching purges in the army, the media, the scientific community and the judiciary, and even health care and public services and sports federations.
