Iran banned the game Pokemon Go – Virtual Poland

Pokemon Go is a game of finding and capturing virtual creatures through an application on your smartphone. The decision to prohibit the entertainment has taken the official Iranian organization overseeing Internet activities.

According to the BBC Iran follows in the footsteps of other countries expressing concern at the threats to security posed by the game, but it is the first in which it will be illegal. Reports last month said that the Iranian authorities before issuing the ban wanted to check the extent to which game developers are willing to work with them.
 

A few days ago, the Israeli army announced that prohibits soldiers game Pokemon Go, fearing that it could lead to leakage of sensitive information, including location of military objects.
 



 Indonesia banned, in turn, the police hunt for Pokemon at the time of service, and one of the French players was arrested last month, when the Pokémon entered into a military base.
 

The influential Saudi cleric announced, however, that the Pokemon Go apply released 16 years ago fatwa prohibiting the card version of the game. The rationale that it is a “forbidden images” and a violation of the current ban on gambling in Islam.
