Savchenko still in custody, the court in Moscow did not recognize her immunity – TVP

The court in Moscow found that the earlier decision process, Savchenko prohibiting travel to Strasbourg, was correct. Savchenko lawyers argued that it is entitled to such trips, and thus to leave jail, because she is entitled to immunity as a permanent member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said on Wednesday that the release Savchenko demands Komnitet Ministers of the Council of Europe (CoE). The resolution in this case represented by 44 countries voted against was only Russia and the representatives of Serbia and Armenia abstained from voting.

As a result of the October parliamentary elections Savchenko was a deputy to the Supreme Council on behalf of the party Batkivshchyna and selected it in the permanent delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

Poroshenko asked Putin to release Savchenko

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko informed on Wednesday that sent to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s request for the immediate release of the Ukrainian aviators and deputowanej Nadia Savchenko.

Life Savchenko may be at risk

According to the lawyers aviators, German doctors who examined her a few days ago in Moscow estimated that the fasting Savchenko may soon lead to irreversible changes in the body, or even death.

Meanwhile, the representative of the Russian Federal Prison Service Anatoly Rudyj says that life is not threatened Savchenko and the general state of health in the existing conditions and the period of fasting is “satisfactory”.
